End Of Year Reflection

My favourite thing about this year was camp because at over-night camp we were in tent groups and in the night I didn't get any sleep but i was listening to the Moreporks, the Possums, and other birds like Tui's.
My goal for next year is to get high grades in my learning.

Dream Job Competition!

This is my picture that I drew and what we had to do is: so first we had to get the bit of paper and for home learning we had to draw or write our dream job for the future, and when i'm older I want to be a photographer of animals because I really LOVE animals.

Swimming Pool

I think we should take the pool down because we could do classrooms instead of having a pool.

Fruit Kebabs!

On the last day of term 3 room 14 made some fruit kebabs and they were yummy. The thing I enjoyed the most was making them and eating them. We had 2 kebabs. On my kebabs I had:

• Apples 
• Grapes
• Mandarin
• Kiwi Fruit
• CHOCOLATE SAUCE Yummy

Habitat Boxes

A habitat box is a box that shows where an animal lives and my box show an elephant enclosure.
The hardest part of making my habitat box was hot gluing small pieces. The part I like the most is my little bush!

Production 2015

In the production I was in the South Africa and i had to do the gumboot dance and the lion sleeps tonight.
I enjoyed the aliens because their costumes look so amazing.
The culture I most liked was the Indian because they shared lots of facts about an Indian wedding.

The Amazing Production!

Last night Vardon School did our production and we are South Africa as you might already know from my last post about our production. Yesterday we had during the day and one at night and then today we have another one tonight. Some of the countries are:

• South Africa
• England
• Switzerland
• New Zealand
• India
• Cambodia
• China
• South East Asia

While we were waiting we watching a movie called 'Lilo and Stitch' and some of us brought iPods and phones; we played 'movie star planet' 'animal jam' and 'minecraft'.


Our School Production

At vardon school we are doing a production this year and its to do with the cultural connections and room 14 is doing South Africa. I'm performing the Gumboot dance and I'm also an elephant.I'm most nervous about talking on the stage because I can sometimes get stage fright. I'm looking forward to performing to an audience because I love to dance and show my learning with my teacher.

Seven Sharp Interview Last Wednesday

Last Wednesday room 14 got filmed by seven sharp and the people who came were Erin (the producer)  Dave (the cameraman)  Doug Wilson (Famous author) Adele  Wilson (Doug Wilson's wife) Bill (the publisher) The most exciting thing that day for me was that I got filmed and that means i'm going to be on television. I learnt that when you get filmed sometimes you have to do it a few times. The thing I will remember for the rest of my life is that I got to be on T.V.

Colour Poem!!!

W.A.L.T:

Colour Poem 

Black is the smoke that assembles the sky pitch black, 

Red is the flame that flares the firewood to ashes,

Blue is the colour of the sea that races around the world,

Green is the colour of someones face when they are about to be sick,

Pink is the colour of a newborns fingers,

White is the clouds that floats around the sky.

Seven Sharp Interview!

On Wednesday at about 1:30 a T.V show will be coming to Vardon School and that T.V show is called Seven Sharp. Last year a author named Doug Wilson wrote a book about room 14 going on camp and how the government took over the country. The title of the book that Doug Wilson wrote is: 'Don't Mess With These Kids'.
The thing I'm most looking forward is that I'm going  to be on T.V

The important thing about Ashlee is that she is a good friend,

Ashlee is funny beautiful and outstanding, 

Ashlee likes to walk dogs sing songs and go shopping,

But the important thing about Ashlee is that she is a good friend.

The Balloon Visit

Room 14's Field of Rememberance

A couple of days ago room 14 make some crosses to remember the people who had died from World War One.
To make the crosses we had to get a long bit of wood and a short bit of wood, then we had to get some double sided tape and stick the two bits of wood together, after that we had to get a sticker that had a fern and a Poppy on it and stick on a name that was a nurse or a soldier.
